It has been 85 years since the establishment of the Perles brand in Switzerland. From generation to generation Perles tools have been praised for the most powerful motors on the market, long durability, and ergonomics.

In 1936 the first electromechanical tool was born. It was a Perles angle grinder. A robust beauty, 60 cm long and weighing 10 kilograms, was a statement of mechanical engineering.

Since then, every master may expose their passion for the most delicate details.

Eighty-five years of continued innovation has made significant contributions to the power tools industry.

1936 Establishment of the company Perles by Rudolf Weber in Pieterlen, Switzerland

1951 Perles is the first company in the world to develop a high speed angle grinder

1960 Merger with the company Iskra, Kranj, a Slovene manufacturer

1960 Development and production of the first double-insulated industrial drills

1964 Industrial design Award LGA - Zentrum Form, Stuttgart for model EVS-06/II

1976 Establishment of the company in Ecuador

1982 Perles moves its entire production to Slovenia

2000 Development of first portable mixers on the market in cooperation with a business partner

2001 Portable mixers win the iF Design Award

2002 Development of the most powerful angle grinder (2,700 W) on the market

2008 Industrial designer Ernest Bevc wins a Designer of the Year Award for PSB 9 drills

2012 Perles Innovation - patented Perles clutch - extend the lifespan of drills up to five time
